Volunteering On SN Radio

Do you have a passion for radio? would you like the opportunity to host your own live radio show. Streaming Network Radio would like to hear from you.

 

SN Radio operates under the business name Streaming Network. Our business is fully licensed and independent internet radio station broadcasting from N.S.W Australia.

 

Volunteering at SN Radio is a great opportunity to learn how online radio works behind the scenes. You will also be building practical skills across broadcasting, media production, events, marketing and more.

 

If you're looking to get in the door of the media industry, develop new skills, or simply be part of our community. Here at SN Radio we could give you the opportunity and space to learn and contribute to our online radio station.

 

Unlike the big commercial organizations which are much more regulated here at Streaming Network Radio we are fairly relaxed. What I mean by this is we often allow and host shows that you would never hear on traditional radio.

 

Currently on offer we are looking for radio show presenters in many areas that require volunteer assistance. These spots include Talkback radio shows, Music based shows and news, and sporting events. If you feel you could join us in this journey, we would really appreciate your time. By joining us you will have a great time and I'm sure you will enjoy yourself along the way.

 

How Much Time is Involved?

We’re looking for volunteers that are able to commit to a regular time slots each week for a minimum of time however at this stage we are flexible. These positions are remotely based only from your home.

 

Ideally, we are looking for volunteers that have a good internet connection and familiar with radio programming. You will need to have the ability to connect to our servers and have your own broadcasting software.

 

Perhaps you have your own show in mind that you would like to broadcast. If so let us know what you have on offer because we are open to ideas.

If you have a few hours you could spare for couple of days a week please let us know. Therefore, If you’re good with people, friendly and fun – Volunteering with us here on SN Radio could be for you.

 

You don’t need to be able to deal with the tech side of things Andrew has that fairly covered. Something as simple as putting on a great show for our listener's will be something we will really appreciate, and I am sure our listener's will to.
