Volunteering On SN Radio

Do you have a passion for radio? would you like the opportunity to host your own live radio show. If so, SN Radio wants to hear from you.

 

SN Radio under the business name Streaming Network is an all Australian fully licensed internet radio station broadcasting from N.S.W

 

Volunteering at SN Radio is a great opportunity to learn how radio works behind the scenes while building practical skills across broadcasting, media production, events, marketing and more.

 

If you're looking to get in the door of the media industry, develop new skills, or simply be part of our community. Here at SN Radio we could give you the opportunity and space to learn and contribute to our internet radio station.

 

Unlike other commercial organizations here at SN Radio we are fairly relaxed, what I mean by this is we often allow and host shows that you would never hear on traditional radio.

 

We therefore are currently looking for radio show presenters in many areas that require volunteer assistance for example Talkback radio show, Music based shows and news, and sporting events shows so in this journey you just might be able to help us, as well as enjoying yourself along the way.

 

How Much Time is Involved?

We’re looking for volunteers that are able to commit to a regular time slots each week for a minimum of time however at this stage we are flexible. These positions are remotely based only from your home.

 

Ideally, we are looking for volunteers that have a good internet connection and internet radio programs for example the ability to connect to our servers and have your own broadcasting software.

If you can spare just a few hours, or as much as a couple of days a week, and you’re good with people, friendly and fun – Volunteering with us here on SN Radio could be for you.

 

You don’t need to be able to deal with the tech side of things Andrew has that fairly covered – something as simple as putting on a great show for our listener's will be something we will really appreciate, and I am sure our listener's will to.

 

Currently on offer if you generally have skills in one or more of these areas:

 

• Broadcaster

• Presentation/Production

• Technical/Digital

• Sponsorship/Media sales
